What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us voluntarily, plus the technical data needed to run the website:

• Contact form data: full name, email address, phone number, approximate dates of stay, number of people and the text of your message.
• Browsing data: IP address, browser type and operating system, pages visited, date and time of the request. This is the data every web server records automatically in its log files.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we carry out no profiling or automated decision-making.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiries sent through the contact form, by email or by phone. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To manage a booking and your stay, including reporting obligations to the public security authorities and tax requirements. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and working properly. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Online bookings

Bookings made from this website are handled by the WuBook booking engine (Wubook S.r.l.), acting as data processor. When you click "Check availability" or "Book", you are taken to a page operated by WuBook, where the data you enter is processed under their own privacy notice. Please read it at wubook.net.

Map

The Contact page embeds a map provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). When the map loads, Google may collect data about your browsing in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Who we share data with

Data may be processed by authorised hotel staff and disclosed to:

• our hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A.);
• the booking engine provider (Wubook S.r.l.);
• our tax and accounting advisers;
• public security authorities and public bodies, where required by law (guest reporting, tourist tax, statistical returns).

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union

Data is stored on servers located within the European Union. Any transfer to a third country takes place only where an adequacy decision of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses are in place.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 12 months from the last contact.
• Contractual and tax data relating to a stay: 10 years, as required by Italian civil and tax law.
• Server log files: for the technical retention period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

At any time you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

If you believe the processing breaches data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Provision of data

Providing the data marked as required in the contact form is necessary for us to answer your enquiry: without it we cannot get back to you. Providing the remaining data is optional.
